Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Cariho, a platform to coordinate the care of one person among family and caregivers. By using Cariho you accept these Terms.

1. What Cariho is (and is not)

Cariho is a tool for organizing and coordinating care. It is not a medical device, it does not provide health services, and it does not give medical advice. What you see in the app is informational and does not replace a health professional’s judgment.

In an emergency, call your local emergency services. Do not rely on Cariho for urgent situations.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to have an account. You are responsible for your account’s activity and for keeping your credentials safe.

3. What you record

When you record information about a person, you state that you have the authorization to do so and to share it with those you invite to their circle. You are responsible for keeping it accurate and up to date.

4. The care circle

Whoever creates a circle is responsible for it and may invite others with different access (family, caregiver, doctor). Responsibility for a circle can be transferred to another member.

5. Emergency access

The emergency card shows a limited set of data to anyone who has it, without signing in. You are responsible for who you give it to, and you can regenerate it to invalidate older ones.

6. The weekly summary

The summary is prepared automatically and may contain errors or omissions. It is a reading aid, not a clinical assessment.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not use Cariho for unlawful purposes or to record data about people without authorization.
• Do not attempt to breach security or access other circles’ information.
• Do not use the app in a way that harms or degrades the service.

8. Plans and payments

Some features may be free and others paid. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we will tell you the price and terms before charging you.

9. Suspension and closure

You can stop using Cariho and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or close access if these Terms are breached or to protect the service.

10. Liability

Cariho is provided "as is", without warranties of being error- or interruption-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for care decisions made based on the app. Cariho does not replace a health professional’s judgment.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the app or by email. Continued use means acceptance.

12. Governing law and contact
